As we wave good bye to summer we glide into autumn but things are late this year in the garden. Our dahlia border is still blooming with no sign of stopping, so the house is full of wonderful vases of the most colourful of flowers – I adore them!

Our special Autumnal Feast workshop takes place on Friday 3 October at our local church. Its a great day to learn about large scale design but also about styling. We follow the palette of autumn with a array of seasonal material and flowers. The exhibition that we create will be open to the public on Saturday 5 October.

Our Christmas wreath making workshops are booking fast – why not treat your friend to lunch and workshop on Thursday 21 November at Cider Works, very near to Beacon Hill Cottage they serve delicious food and following lunch you will make your own festive door wreath.

Don’t forget our annual FROST FAIR which takes place on Saturday 7 December, here at Beacon Hill Cottage, I am planning to do some mini dems providing you with even more new ideas for the festive season.
