Service Description

As soon as you get out of your car, parked in our courtyard you are welcomed by Mig. This begins your time in the relaxing country surroundings of Beacon Hill Cottage and a day all about weddings! As you take your seat in Mig’s Studio you will be served tea to coffee with homemade biscuits or a cold drink if you fancy it. The morning session is all about concepts, sourcing, buying and producing your own wedding designs. Mig takes you through the whole process, giving you useful tips on how to deliver a wedding no matter the size or budget. Throughout the day Mig is very happy to answer any questions and share his experience with you. As lunchtime arrives, Mig invites you into his dinning room where a two course delicious lunch is served. After lunch and back in the Studio, Mig leads a practical session where you will make a button hole and small hand tied bouquet that you will be able to take home. Mig shows you how to get the best from your flowers and shares extra special techniques to ensure that your wedding work is beautiful. The day ends with a cold glass of fizz. As your time draws to a close, there is always a moment to visit the Beacon Hill Shop which is always packed with gorgeous gifts for you or to take home for friends. There is also a vintage section of pre-loved containers and vases looking for a new home. After your delicious lunch and your floral sessions, its time to head home planning your next visit to see Mig at Beacon Hill Cottage!

Cancellation Policy

Terms and conditions: If you are unable to attend a course/event you have booked and paid for: A friend or family member is welcome to attend in your place. You will need to provide us with their name, dietary requirements and contact email address/phone number as soon as possible prior to the course/event date. If we receive 8 weeks’ notice or more we will refund the full cost of your course/event. If we receive more than 4 weeks’ notice we will transfer you to another suitable course/event of the same value. If we receive less than 4 weeks’ notice we are unable to offer a refund or transfer as we have inadequate time to re-sell the place. A friend or family member is welcome to attend in your place. A course/event place purchased as a gift carries the same cancellation policy. The course value cannot be transferred over to use on Mig Kimpton products. If we need to cancel a course/event: We may cancel any course/event due to illness or very low numbers, and you will then have the option of a transfer to another course/event of the same value or a full refund of your payment.
