We have fitted a night camera to see what animal activity happens in the dead of night. We now know that we have badgers and bunnies! We are now strengthening our fences and we will monitor the situation. The next step is have some of the trees thinned out so we can attract more light to the ground. We are deciding how the network of flower beds will work and of course what will be in them. Ground works will begin when the ground softens and warms up.
In the meantime our dahlia border is being planned and bulbs are on order. Planting in pots will begin in March at the same time the border will be prepared, with of course some animal defences fitted. We do not want new plants munched!
